Bobby Schostak is CEO of MadDog Venture Capital and General Partner/Fund Manager of MadDog Venture Capital Fund I. MadDog Technology was founded by former Compuware CEO and Founder, Pete Karmanos. MadDog Technology is a developer and funder of cloud based solutions that are disruptive to the industries they serve.For 35 plus years Bobby has served, in a variety of roles, in his family's business, Schostak Brothers & Company, a leading commercial real estate business in Michigan, where they operate properties in 24 states. In addition, the Schostak family operates the largest privately held, franchised restaurant company in Michigan, with ownership of over 151 restaurants under a partnership known as Team Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR). TSFR includes Olga’s Kitchen, Applebee’s, Wendy's, and MOD Pizza. Following serving for seven years in Republican political leadership in Michigan, as Chairman and Finance Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, Bobby announced the formation of the Templar Baker Group (TBG) in June 2015. TBG provides strategic political consulting, campaign management, and fundraising. In addition, TBG consults for businesses by helping to bridge the divide between business and government for their clients. In December of 2015, Michigan’s Governor Rick Snyder appointed Bobby to the Oakland University Board of Trustees, where he is currently Chairman of the Board. This board provides general oversight of the university, including control and direction of all institution expenditures. Bobby also serves on the Board of Advisors of Boji Group, the Board of Advisors of Belle Tire, the Board of Advisors of C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and serves on the Urban Land Institute of Michigan Advisory Board. Bobby and his wife Nancy were married in 1977; together they have three married children, and eleven grandchildren.
