With over 20 years of professional experience, I am a product management expert and innovator uniquely positioned at the intersection of Technology, Business, and Sustainability. My career has been defined by launching groundbreaking products and shaping the future of climate risk and geospatial data analytics. I conceptualized and helped launch some of the most prominent geospatial products in Capital Markets, including ask.riskthinking.ai, the world’s first openly available AI platform for climate data and analytics. In 2023, I earned Google Cloud's Industry Solution of the Year for Sustainability with Climate Engine's SpatiaFi product.In 2017, I was invited by the United Nations and 16 of the largest banks to collaborate on defining and publishing reporting standards for measuring Climate Risk (TCFD Physical Risk). Partnering with Dun & Bradstreet, I helped develop analytics and power the launch of their new Climate Risk Insights solution. I also co-launched the first sustainability research center in the Middle East, which was unveiled at the 2022 Global AI Summit. As a pioneer in 'Spatial Finance", I created the first COVID-19 data solution for Wall Street, when only 7,000 cases were reported globally, and I invented and productized the quantification of weather and climate statistics for publicly traded companies based on physical asset data.My work has been widely recognized, and I have authored and co-authored publications for the United Nations, World Bank, The Economist, Bloomberg, WWF, Waters Technology, Engineering & Technology Magazine, Datanami, and Geospatial World, among others. I have spoken at industry and technology conferences across four continents and was personally invited to the White House in 2016 to participate in a CTO office meeting on "Innovating the Future of Earth Observation Data & Analytics" to discuss policies on location data. Several of the products I've launched have been featured on CBS’s 60 Minutes, Showtime’s Billions, Bloomberg TV, and by notable figures such as Michael Bloomberg and Al Gore. My work was awarded an international ESRI SAG Award (Special Achievement in GIS) in 2013 for the SNL Maps product, and in 2004, I was assigned to a special U.S. Air Force operation to protect the Vice President of the United States. As a decorated wartime veteran, I was named the electronics and communications technician of the year in 2003 for the U.S. 12th Air Force and recognized as one of five outstanding alumni at James Madison University's 20th-anniversary celebration for Integrated Science & Technology.
