• Performed mechanical stress analysis on tools and designs in order to rate tools to specified pressures, axial loads and combined loading scenarios.• Worked in New Product Development group to design new tools, as well as modify old ones, to customer specified requirements for specific applications.• Organized, conducted, and analyzed testing for several products and product lines; such as permanent and retrievable packers, cement retainers, latch anchors, composite plugs and other downhole tools.• Worked in the manufacturing sustaining group to alleviate issues seen in the field, manufacturing, and procurement through ECNs and other standardized Weatherford procedures.
