Lead Title Ix Investigator

• Serves as primary investigator into allegations of sexual misconduct; conducts interviews, gathers information, compiles documentation, analyzes evidence, creates comprehensive reports documenting findings, and advises leadership on potential risk exposure• Consistently effectuates thorough and efficient investigations into complaints involving complex allegations of sexual misconduct, relationship violence, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, gender discrimination, and stalking via formal and informal means• Develops investigative plans for complaints in accordance with university policy and recognized standards in the employment and compliance arenas• Applies advanced analytic skills to produce expertly written concise, comprehensive, impartial, evidence-based reports• Manages ongoing communication to involved parties in addition to supervisor, campus administrators, and other stakeholders • Develops and facilitates prevention and response training programs, reaching students, faculty, and staff•Advocates for improvements in the investigative process by collaborating and engaging in discussions with colleagues in order to improve procedures, protocols, and overall efficiency• Prepares and presents weekly updates of active cases to the Title IX Coordinator • Presents investigative report for final adjudication• Coordinates with departments and individuals to facilitate timely investigations, interim measures, and accommodations for all involved parties• Authors and adjusts internal processes, protocols, rubrics, training materials, and other documents• Creates and maintains accurate records of all reports in case management system (Maxient), including comprehensive documentation of investigation materials and correspondence• Mines and analyzes data for office reports, statistics, benchmarking assessment, and other informational requests • Continually identifies and integrates best practices regarding administrative investigations
