Leading an amazing global staff on the development of FIS Payments One UI and APIs. The platform provides a full view of debit, credit, and automated teller machine (ATM) card transactions “from initiation to authorization and settlement." The same modern, secure APIs that power the UI are also accessible through FIS Code Connect, allowing clients to build custom applications.

Introduced new revenue opportunities as manager and technology lead for the Digital Transformation team responsible for creating innovative new products that enabled clients to engage with their data through APIs, events, and webhooks.

One of the principal architects for EventBroker (high-volume data pipelines) and the Integrated Payments Platform (IPP) proof of concept (forerunner to Payments One UI). Both established the architectural elements we now use today such as Angular, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.

Solution architect for Self Service Gateway, the forerunner to Payments OneTerminal Services. Built the T21 Framework for Adobe Flex (similar to AngularJS for JavaScript), which enforced standard UX behavior and allowed developers to build UI features in half the normal time. Lead Architect for Enterprise View, a dashboard providing clients with visualizations of their data. Introduced Angular and Hybrid Mobile applications development to FIS payments organization with the creation of the Enterprise View Mobile application.

Directed a team of 10+ software engineers as part of a multi-million dollar effort to build and deploy the hardware/software architecture for an enterprise reporting system.

Supervisor and technical lead for the Foundation Architecture Group, which defined and enforced coding standards, developed test plans, and built development tools for our Visual Basic, COBOL, and SQL code base. Defined our SQL standards, developed tools to improve SQL development efficiencies, and mentored the development team on developing efficient SQL queries and Object Oriented Design and Programming.

Launched an innovation lab to explore emerging web, mobile, and data-streaming technologies for potential application to FIS, while delivering custom solutions to clients such as Sellars, Marek Group, Protiviti, and Mind Therapy Clinic.
