I am passionate about improving math and science education in ways that makes it more engaging and appealing for students. I want to encourage and inspire students to stick with math and science and pursue STEM degrees and careers. I was a senior merchandising executive for RH Macy's and other national and regional retailers. Following a career in retail I founded a management consulting firm, attended business school, and co-managed an angel fund. Recently, I founded and run two academic tutoring business and I am pursuing ways to make a large impact on improving the outcomes of K-12 math and science education. My wife Beppie and I have four children. Our children graduated from Colorado College, Princeton University, Stanford University, and University of Colorado at Boulder Honors Program and all have jobs that they like.
