About Bob Charney
Bob and his wife Elisa have an adult son with autism and epilepsy. They turned to Creative Steps because of the quality of their post high school program supporting young adults out in the community. Not long after getting involved, Bob was asked to join the Board of Directors and today is our Chairman of the Board and CEO. Bob brings business management experience, non-profit governance experience, and fundraising skills to the organization. Bob recently retired from the advertising agency business after 53 years in the marketing industry working for several large and small firms in New York and Los Angeles before starting his own agency, RSC Marketing & Advertising in 1989. He also has served on the Boards of the Alzheimers Association of Los Angeles and the Autism Society of Los Angeles.Specialties: Strategic planning, promotions & event management, strategic partnerships, cause related marketing, charity tie-Ins and more.
