Promoted to VP GM Service BU ($100MM revenue) grew the service team from seven to 160, managed corporate IT. Ran corporate marketing while chairing the cross business unit engineering council. Lead M&A efforts on four transactions. Lastly I started and ran Synopsys's corporate venture capital unit (achieved, 60% IRR, compared to 18.4% pooled average IRR for 1998 funds.)
