Credit and Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive financial credit review of CPA-reviewed financial statements, including analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. Evaluate creditworthiness and financial stability of the statements using key financial ratios.Compliance: Approve and manage complex surety bonds, ensuring adherence to company underwriting guidelines and industry standards. Partner with agents, contractors, CPAs and industry professionals.

As the part-time logistic CFO of IN Communications, a strategic communications firm, I oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and long-term financial planning.

I established IN Real Estate to offer specialized consulting services to the affordable housing real estate industry, including lending programs, project and asset management, financial analysis, underwriting, and deal structuring.

Appointed to this position, I served as part of the agency’s executive management team, overseeing 27 staff members and managing a $2 billion affordable housing portfolio. I led efforts to manage and finance multiple affordable housing programs worth billions of dollars using the issuance of tax-exempt bonds, and low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC). We utilized credit enhancements in partnership with the bond market, direct purchases to Banks, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). I presented annual updates to the CalHFA Board of Directors.

While at U.S. Bank, I managed relationships with commercial real estate clients and structured over $200 million in financing for development projects.

At KeyBank, I opened the Washington, DC office, where I hired and led a team of six. I later relocated to California and served as the National Affordable Housing Product Specialist. I worked with over 50 relationship managers responsible for implementing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s affordable housing programs, including multifamily tax-exempt bonds and low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC).

I began my career at Capri Capital, a Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Multifamily DUS lender, where I gained valuable experience in market-rate and affordable housing lending programs.
