Bob has been a storyteller his entire career- first over the airwaves, then helping schools and nonprofits raise awareness and funding--nearly $400 million to date.He told stories as news director of KDKA-AM, the world's first commercial radio station. As a broadcaster he covered breaking and investigative news, four U.S. presidential campaigns and interviewed world leaders.Bob joined the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh in a successful capital campaign that raised $189M+, topping a goal of $125M. He led donor communications, campaign administration and raised funds, and later helped launch Pittsburgh Catholic magazine as managing editor.He previously earned national news coverage handling PR for Roberts Communications, as well as for the Boy Scouts of America in Pittsburgh.Bob was director of marketing and communications for United Way in southwestern PA, creating messages and materials that helped raise $187 million over six campaigns.As a lifelong learner and teacher, Bob taught journalism at Point Park University. He earned a B.A. in Communications from St. Bonaventure University.A golf fan, he has covered major pro and amateur championships as well as the Ryder Cup.
