Implemented in Python using the Flask micro-framework, with significant AJAX/JQuery/Javascript usage, and deployed to the AWS could.Designed and developed Pixtamatic for iOS and Android, a mobile app that allows users to easily add styled text to their own photos (from their library or taken with the camera in-app) or to packaged background images, and then share the finished product in a variety of ways, including via their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Deployed to Apple App Store and Google Play, with an in app purchase (IAP) option that added features and removed nagging.Working for Corona Labs, designed and implemented a cross platform network stack on iOS and MacOS (Objective C), Android (Java), and Windows (C), with 500+ unit tests (Lua) and a custom test server (Python, deployed to AWS cloud). This involved heavy use of the Lua C API and JNLua. Included highly optimized and multi-threaded (where supported) support for HTTP operations, including upload/download of text/binary content, custom request headers, response headers, error handling, status updates with cancel, and more.
