This is an eight-week program where I will provide students with the keys to improve their cyber literacy and better prepare for the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

My career at Riverbed started in early 2003 when I joined the then tiny start-up of less than 10 employees to help launch Riverbed's groundbreaking Steelhead WAN optimization product line to the market. Riverbed grew to more than 2,600 employees, multiple product lines, and has exceeded $1B per year in revenue.I wore many hats early on at Riverbed. My first focus was to help define the initial feature set and product direction for Riverbed's Steelhead family of WAN optimization products. My product management hat included talking to prospective customers about their requirements, researching the competitive landscape, talking to industry analysts, and ultimately putting together the product requirements that would be the basis for 1.0 of our Steelhead WAN optimization appliance family. My product marketing hat involved assisting with the positioning of Riverbed and our initial Steelhead product into the market, identifying target buyers, and developing high impact messages supported by the creation of collateral to ultimately support our initial product launch.After several successful product launches and an IPO in 2006, my focus and role at Riverbed evolved into the company evangelist. As Riverbed's Chief Evangelist, I spanned the globe educating the market about Riverbed, IT performance, and various IT topics and trends. I also spearheaded Riverbed's social media strategy and our online community initiatives. I am a prolific and award-winning speaker and have presented at hundreds of IT related venues around the world, covering a variety of topics ranging from cloud computing to disaster recovery.

Ran product marketing at an early stage file caching technology company. Collaborated with engineering and product management teams in Israel and came up with high impact messaging and collateral. I was successful in raising the awareness of DiskSites in the market that culminated in several articles written by industry publications and a high-profile trade show showing at SNW.

I was hired as a product marketing manager to assist the VP of Marketing with launching 2netFX into the red hot streaming media market. I was initially responsible for product positioning, collateral, and product launches covering 2netFX's HDTV over IP and StreamRider product lines. After a successful product launch, which culminated by an on-stage appearance with Intel CEO Crag Barrett during his 20012 keynote address at Networld + Interop, I was promoted to Director of Product Marketing.

Provided support to our field sales organization. Assisted with installs, delivered live product demonstrations, and created sales tools and collateral. Part of a marketing team that helped the company transition from a start-up to a public company after a successful IPO in 1997.
