Primarily responsible for the Infor (formerly Geac, formerly JBA) System21 MRP/ERP manufacturing control system. Software design using RPG (III and ILE), CL, SQL, C# and Java on an IBM Series-i (AS/400), iSeries Navigator and ODBC administration. Technical and end-user documentation. Design of code to automatically generate and email Excel-ready reports from the iSeries, as well as generate web pages using HTML, XML and CSS directly from the system. Proactively designed programs to detect and self-correct data errors.Thoroughly knowledgeable of Robot job scheduling, Query/400 and SQL, disk space and performance optimizing, control of user authorities, as well as cross-systems/network file sharing, subsystem/device/communication controls. Proficient in MS/Office, iSeries Menus/Displays/DDS/Print Files, interfacing with EDI systems (Infor/AutoRelease, formerly Future3), Crystal Reports, MyEureka (formerly IQ/Objects) and NAFTA, UPS, and Denied Party Screening services. Some experience with the JDE ERP system and its development environment.Most recently lead projects: Automated Physical Inventory programming suite, Automated Production Forecast programming, and design of a user authority tracking method for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.Work closely with subject matter experts across the business to translate customer needs into right-the-first-time solutions. Designed automated test station software to put the MX/Peacekeeper missile guidance system through its paces. Moved up to managing our ManMan MRP-II planning system. Then worked on transporting it to the PRMS system that was used by AlliedSignal, who acquired our Northrop facility and moved operations to Cheshire, Connecticut.
