I have more than 30 years experience in financial services, most recently as COO of Voyant UK where I was instrumental in bringing to the UK the Voyant Adviser global leading financial planning platform. As COO, I was responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies and for product management for Voyant in the UK. I retired from my executive responsibilities in 2020 but remain a director of Voyant UK and adviser to the Board. in 2022, I became a founding investor in and adviser to All in Place which aims to empower accountancy practices in the provision of financial planning services to clients.Previously I have worked as a specialist expert resource with Morningstar as a member of the team responsible for the development of the Adviser Workstation solution and as a UK Director of mPower Europe, where I helped to develop web-based advice and "financial health check" solutions for major institutions and the FSA / HM Treasury.From 2004 - 2008 I participated in the FSA Financial Capability Review as a member of the Families Focus GroupFrom 1983 to 2000 I was an Independent Financial Adviser working in a number of senior roles for Mercer, the global employee benefit consultancy.My passion and aspirations lie in the area of helping to raise consumer understanding of and engagement in financial planning and decision making.
