Recently, I worked on improving supply chain operations and manufacturing for an international hardware company, traveling to Seoul to work with our team there and our contract manufacturer to implement changes, and move to a JIT inventory approach.I did a deep dive on customer acquisition costs, renewal rates, upsells and other SaaS metrics to improve the profitability of our subscription business.Recently, I helped turn around a cybersecurity business, helping grow revenue significantly and improving EBITDA from negative to positive. Cash flow from operations also went from negative to positive.My approach involves designing infrastructures with effective internal controls that increase financial predictability and eliminate surprises. I developed all financial forecasts, managed all due diligence requests, and successfully closed the deal in 2012 to avoid the “fiscal cliff” tax increase. I helped grow bookings by nearly 90% by investing in the sales force and keeping other investments flat. Bersin was self-funded during this entire time of rapid growth.In my role, I implemented process improvements that resulted in faster invoicing & collections.
