I develop and transform leadership using lean and agile tools. I look at Agile through the lenses of the Flow Leadership Framework. To help plants become lean I focus on their problem-solving skills. The tools are slightly different for Lean and Agile but the mindset required to lead these organization is the same. I have worked with a Tier 1 Automotive.

I work with 14 plants in the US, Canada and Mexico where we improved productivity and reduced operating costs. I consult, influence, coach and mentor multiple layers of the organization on: throughput improvements using Theory of Constraints; improving manpower utilization through waste elimination and rebalancing of work elements; technical problem.

Uzbekistan

My leadership enabled an international staff to function as one unified team, by creating a collaborative environment and focusing on a common goal to achieve BIQ3. We turned around the performance of a new joint venture casting and engine plant by providing tools and knowledge to all levels of the organization. We ensured manufacturing process integrity.

North America

I was responsible for the hiring and training of Production Launch Managers for 18 North American casting, engine, and transmission plants. By consulting with plants, standardized work was created which allowed for continuous improvement for each subsequent launch. I influenced plant to plant collaboration and implementation of the GM Global Manufacturing.

Brasil

I led a Brazilian team that rebuilt the manufacturing systems after returning to GM from a joint venture. I coordinated global support to train the workforce in quality systems, maintenance and production problem solving.
