Provide functional and technical support for SAP ERP applications with a focus on procurement, vendor master and travel expense. Conduct unit testing and coordinate UAT. Ensures changes to applications are aligned with supporting cost estimates, functional design, solution architecture and a successful transition to production environment. Act as a liaison between user community and IT by capturing functional design and user requirements for business related controls, workflows and interfaces. • Provide master data stewardship within a centralized organization, whose primary focus is ensuring the data integrity of the Material Master. Support both U.S. and international sites within SAP 4.6C environment• Responsible for the configuration of Material Groups, ensuring that all requests adhere to the enterprise naming conventions and nomenclatures• Responsible for the configuration of storage locations, as well as custom tables associated with master data• Monitor external procurement system interfaces to SAP. Responsible for error resolution• Administer quality assurance reports to monitor the data integrity of the Material Master. Provide results and feedback to data owners (Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Manufacturing) within the organization. In addition, naming conventions and material group assignments are continually monitored. • Resolve issues surrounding purchase orders and goods receipts• Rectify discrepancies within purchasing module to ensure purchase order optimization.
