There are over 50,000 law firms and every firm has attorneys with expert knowledge competing for many of the same prospects. One key feature that differentiates these firms is how they leverage their relationships to generate new business for the firm.For the past 15+ years, I have been responsible for overseeing all daily operations for the CRM system, InterAction from LexisNexis, at large law firms. This CRM system is the conduit for all communications between the attorneys and current clients and prospects. I like to apply my technical skills and software development background to my passion of realizing the often under-utilized business development features available to law firms through technology. My management style's very simple. I enjoy the challenge of large projects. The best way to do that, in my experience, is by building a team environment centered around clear communication, an explicit vision, a corresponding strategy, total accountability and vigilance, while always having a good time.I have also had the privilege of being the group leader for the Chicago InterAction User Group and was previously a member of the InterAction Client Advisory Board.When I'm not on the job, I like reading, any outdoor activity including hiking, fishing, tennis, riding my bike, and when the Chicago area weather cooperates, going to the beach at the Indiana Dunes, and playing golf.If you would like to contact me, please reach out via email at rgolon2002@yahoo.com.
