Lead Architect and technical liaison for IBM’s HACMP for AIX/Linux product; Technical Lead for 40+ member team of engineers developing and supporting a $10M+ annual revenue stream into Lakeview via HACMP. Selected Accomplishments:• Determined market needs and offered feasible solutions via products, services, or combinations of each, resulting in the initiation of a highly available data replication product and service offering• Successfully led the technical effort to develop and ship HACMP 5.4, the most recent version of the product as of 4Q08. This was the culmination of numerous on-time and under-budget product shipments of HACMP since its inception.• Assisted all team members, including project management, software engineers, QA engineers, Information Development, and Release Engineering in coordinating efforts, reviewing specifications and code, and ensuring smooth operations. Coded on occasion to help team meet deadlines.

Co-technical lead for IBM’s Cluster Logical Volume Manager (CLVM) project; Technical lead for IBM’s HACMP product.Selected Accomplishments:• Co-produced the system and component design of IBM's next-generation CLVM software with participants from IBM Architecture in Poughkeepsie, NY, and Haifa, Israel• Led six-person team responsible for the design and implementation of the HACMP Resource Management feature, which make use of RSCT, a distributed system infrastructure on the IBM p-Series platform• Performed on-site work at Nagano, Japan, assisting IBM in configuring and installing a three-tier architecture for supporting the 1998 Winter Olympic effort. Evaluated and made recommendations for maintaining a highly available system responsible for keeping information available to the media, the athletes and staff.
