Trained and Graduated as an analogue and RF design engineer with MoD and then developed high frequency switching techniques at Roband. Migrated into sales and marketing in the semiconductor industry. Formed my first SME in 1980; a semiconductor distribution company. It was part of a group which went public.My second SME was formed in 1991; an award winning, (National Training Award + others) 40 strong, IT recruitment and training business which I sold to a Plc in 2001. Since then I have gone into SME Strategy, Business Plan building and fund raising, full time and am currently involved in a number of equity funding, M&A and other projects.I have a wealth of hard earned experience to offer to the SME sector.
