I have had the pleasure of working as an educator, researcher, consultant and member of Professional organizations for the past 30+ years. My academic achievements have been exciting and inspirational - achieving a Diploma in Outdoor Education (Seneca College), Bachelor of Physical Education/Kinesiology (U Alberta), M.Sc. (U Alberta) and PhD (Monash Uni). Recently, I served 2 terms (6 years) as Board Director - Canadian Sports Institute (Pacific). I continue to lecture at MacEwan Uni and Norquest College in Edmonton (Schools of Business) and maintain position of co-founder and President at SkillPair.ca. To date I have conducted research and publications in fields of Sports Sciences and Medicine, Coaching, Leadership, Change Management and Organizational Development. In these fields, I have authored and co-authored 7 journal publications, Presenter at 6 International conferences, author and co-author of 14 peer reviewed books. I continue to be active in professional organizations - memberships and professional designations of Sports Scientist (SMA) and Charter Manager (C. Mgr.) CIM Chartered Managers Canada. In 2013 I created and developed the Competencies-Based Coaching (C-BC) System that has been implemented in University courses and business organizations. Recently, the C-BC System (SkillPair.ca) has been adopted by CIM Chartered Managers Canada to provide members with a digital certification ('Peer Coaching Facilitator').
