Document Imaging, Videography and digital conversions.· Most recently, videotaping, editing and distributing DVD’s of Las Vegas Kings football team. Videos were shot and edited primarily for coaching staff analysis and then made available to team members.· Scanning of photographs and documents for the creation of CD’s and/or DVD’s to client specifications. Uploaded videos to YouTube for private viewing by clients and their relations.

Directed in-house and contract programming efforts as well as supervision of computer operations staff.· While Hill-Rom was implementing JD Edwards software, ensured the legacy system (RENT-ONE) maintained the status quo, continued to produce informational reports beneficial to the users and management and maintained the bridge to transmit financial information to the new system.· Coordinated the data conversion from RENT-ONE to JD Edwards. During this process, wrote many queries against the RENT-ONE database resulting in MS Excel spreadsheets and/or MS Access databases for further analysis by management.· Transferred historical information to a data warehouse and developed customized queries via COGNOS for future access by diverse Hill-Rom personnel.

-- continued --· Coordinated the major systems overhaul and resulting data conversions with the users and software vendor. As the primary liaison, continually performed analysis and design specs for the software vendor (QUSIM Systems).· Completed many projects related to improving business field operations as well as back office functions. Directed the internal programming staff with regard to management objectives. · With the closing of QUSIM Systems, assumed the responsibility for in-house support of RENT-ONE.· Directed changes to accommodate the production of invoice data compatible with OSG Billing Services format. This change reduced monthly costs related to invoice production, staffing and mailing. In addition, the Accounts Receivable days outstanding was reduced due to the expedited delivery of invoices.· With the introduction of new company management, managed a project to convert to Microsoft Great Plains (requiring many modifications) utilizing IBIS Systems as the software support vendor. After having completed the conversion of a portion of the software (relating to financial reporting and parts purchases and utilization) bridges were also built between the two systems for financial reporting.· With the Hill-Rom acquisition of Mediq on the horizon, the conversion to Microsoft Great Plains was abandoned (except for the financial reporting). Directed the conversion back to the legacy system (RENT-ONE).

Directed in-house and contract programming efforts as well as supervision of computer operations staff.· Assumed responsibility of Computer Operations, Data Entry and Communications (for existing phone system) immediately following the acquisition of ATI Medical by Mediq, Inc.· Shortly thereafter, took responsibility for the programming staff and supervised the development and modifications of the existing software. In addition, designed and standardized branch PC software for the purpose of data collection and two-way reporting (utilizing Microwand hardware –same as FedEx - with “home-grown” software) resulting in a staff reduction of data entry operators.· Created training materials and conducted training sessions for field personnel.· Assisted in the selection of a new software solution necessitated by increased business. Participated in the selection of QUSIM System’s RENT-ONE (dubbed “TelStar” by Mediq). Due to Mediq’s investment in hardware, the software (which was written for the HP 3000 in COBOL) was ported to the AS/400.

Direction and supervision of programming, data entry and computer operations staff.· Directed the major system overhaul consisting of converting from a rudimentary network of PC’s to an IBM System/36 utilizing customized third-party rental software. Among the results were an expedited billing process, increased cash flow and inventory control.· Relocated corporate staff and hardware from Glendale, CA to Las Vegas and coordinated necessary remote operations via leased communication lines.· Two years later, due to the expansion of the business, assisted in the selection of a more refined, all-encompassing, rental software solution (QUSIM Systems “RENT-ONE”).· Converted the System/36 data to an HP 3000 (Model 935) running the RENT-ONE software package.· Designed and implemented stand-alone PC solutions for the 60+ branch locations to accommodate daily transmission of data to/from the branches.· ATI was purchased by Mediq and, since their decision was to maintain their existing “home-grown” systems, coordinated the data conversion from the HP 3000 to an IBM AS/400.

From Computer Operator to Programmer/Analyst to Manager of Information Systems solutions for multiple manufacturing facilities in the division.· Managed various systems conversions and upgrades.· Advanced Structures Division- Converted a card system (IBM 402) to an IBM System/3. Wrote all new programs in RPG II. The computer supported multiple manufacturing facilities.· Advanced Casting Facility –Single-handedly converted from IBM System/3 to System/34. Designed menus, developed operations manual and standardized all software naming conventions. Supervised the growing data entry and programming staff. Eventually installed MAPICS modules related to Inventory Management, Product Data Management and Production Control and Costing.· California Drop Forge – Coordinated the installation and porting of pertinent software to an IBM System/36.· Precision Sheet Metal – Trained existing staff regarding the utilization of upgraded computer hardware. Assisted in the implementation of an IBM System/38 utilizing MAPICS software modules related to Material Requirements Planning, Inventory Management and Product Data Management.
