• Responsible for defining and executing the Global Strategic Sourcing strategies across the worldwide network in the Chemicals and Cell Culture Media categories and some third party materials in the new Pfizer.
• This expanded role includes previous responsibilities and adds 6 additional global biotechnology sites, 100 additional vendors, 200 additional SKU's and an additional $20MM in spend.
• The new sites, suppliers and materials will be strategically managed as part of the global direct materials portfolio where previously they were locally managed.
• Responsibilities include establishment of standard cost for materials, market analysis via RFI/RFP/eSourcing initiatives as well as Strategic Supplier Relationship Management.
• Responsible for $2.8MM in delivered savings in 2009 and a projected $3.3MM in savings in 2010.
• Responsible for establishment of long term contractual agreements with key suppliers and maintenance of those agreements going forward as well as all other previous Strategic Sourcing activities.

• Responsible for the management of the chemicals and media categories globally for the entire Biotech business unit including both in-house and third party manufacturers involving approximately 400 SKU's, 150 suppliers.
• Responsible for coordinating with S&OP planning to assure supply at all Biotech sites worldwide.
• Responsible for coordinating the accumulation of supplier performance data and using this information to build continuous improvement within the supplier and procurement network.
• Responsible for negotiating global agreements with key material suppliers to mitigate supply chain risk and to establish long-term pricing.
• Responsible to deliver solutions to high-level supplier issues when they occur.
• Efforts have driven approximately 15MM$ of favorable PPV in 2006, 4MM$ in 2007 and 3MM$ in 2008.
