WHO AM I AND WHY DO I COACH?In meeting with hundreds of Real Estate Agents,Team Leaders and Brokers for the past 20+ years, I have discovered that most of them share several positive traits:-Their sales skills are top-notch, and most of them have achieved a high level of personal success-They could write a book on lead generation and conversion-They have an incredible work ethic-They deliver a high level of customer service-They have reached a point in their career where they feel they need to leverage their time/energy/money/experience by creating a team of agents, with the goal of adding more profit to their bottom line.Sounds easy, right? Just hire a bunch of agents and give them opportunities to succeed (give them leads and train them on how to convert them), and with a 50/50 split I’ll really “crush it” (I hate that phrase). Sound familiar?The problem is, 95% of the Real Estate Leaders and/or Brokers in our industry also have these things in common: -I call it the “mini-me” syndrome.”If I can just create a bunch of “mini-me’s”, we’re golden”.-They know how to sell (and most know how to teach others how to sell), but they are lacking in leadership skills.-Their “hair-on-fire” work ethic generally doesn’t work when managing people (think herding cats). They lack systems, and the foundation of solid leadership is systems.-They fail to give the same level of service to their team members as their clients.-Because most of them are lacking a clear vision, focus, marketing strategies, short/mid/long-term goals, etc., and most importantly SYSTEMS IN PLACE, they are in a constant uphill battle.But trust me, there is hope!I owned a Real Estate Brokerage and ran a team for over 20 years, so I know the pain that leaders in our industry go through on a daily basis.
