Established media contacts and wrote press releases and speeches for the American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network, encouraging legislators to vote for increased funding for cancer research and to inform the public of current and new diagnostic and treatment options.

Partner of the leading retained boutique executive search firm in the property and casualty insurance business. Produced more than $15 million in new billings and conducted senior and middle management searches in insurance, financial services and not-for-profit organizations. Started and ran information technology and not-for-profit search services. Placed nine presidents of insurance and not-for-profit entities, along with 300 other senior and mid-level executives, with a 23-year cumulative retention rate of over 80%! Five of the senior executives were later promoted to presidencies. Coached and helped develop entry-level search personnel.

Redeveloped and managed training for all levels of systems personnel in the Eastern United States, Canada, Europe (EMEA) and Latin America. Included migrating whole countries from variety of older technologies to new IBM global systems.

Founded and managed the Educational Services Division of INSCO Systems Corporation, Continental's systems and data processing subsidiary, from 1970 to 1977. Promoted to Continental Insurance Companies, responsible for management, supervisory and technical training throughout the United States and Canada from 1977 to 1980. While at INSCO, designed and developed the "Programmer Knowledge Survey," one of the first fully automated interviewing tools ever used to determine training deficiencies and hiring fit. Used as placement and training aid by numerous Fortune 500 companies.
