Systems tested run the gamut from powertrain (gas, hybrid, EV, manual and automatic transmission), performance, safety, driver assistance, drivability, squeak and rattle, comfort, craftsmanship and infotainment systems (SYNC, Phoenix, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Alexa, Siri, Pandora, Spotify, Sirius, Google, etc).As issues are discovered, determine the most effective and safest approach for documenting and capturing ALL information that may support further investigation by engineering teams, including utilization of digital in-vehicle tools such as DevLogs and Bug Reports, and other approaches like photos, videos, voice memos, written reports, etc.At the end of each shift, report issues, anomalies and/or deficiencies encountered to the manufacturer’s engineering teams for further investigation. As necessary, have follow-up discussions with those teams to answer questions and provide more context relative to how the reported problem manifested itself, etc.Often one of the first drivers entrusted with pre-release camouflaged vehicles due to my attention to detail, exceptional judgement and trustworthiness.Often selected to lead other drivers along routes due to my experience and ability to field questions from others regarding best practices, etc.Accumulated tens of thousands of miles of road tests.The insights and evaluations I provide are instrumental in helping the product development teams achieve their goals for enhanced vehicle quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
