Since the last update, we have been extending our ability to deliver benchmarking services - specifically in terms of Investing in Volunteers assessments and PQASSO (mentoring). I have also become a volunteer mentor for the Third Sector Doctor (Sustainability Mentor) Project - which is very fulfilling.Our SkillsAware website continues to grow, slowly and steadily, and further developments are planned which should come on-line, progressively, throughout the year. But if you visit the bobhughes.co.uk website during February 2016, you will find that it is being reconstructed to reflect our move towards designing and delivering cost effective business training, in addition to the usual support, which includes:- stand-alone or integrated advice and mentoring projects- supporting other business generalist and specialist advisors;- pre-start, incubation and post-start business advice.We have, in fact, been focusing much development effort into a major new training programme called "Business Essentials", and the details can be found on the Silicwm Valley website (silicwmvalley.com). The courses and programmes will be run at the recently redesigned conference and meeting room facilities at "Solvings", in Mold - a company dedicated to promoting business networking and learning.In the meantime, the company continues to provide direct and web-based business advice and support- we offer a range of on-line surveys to help employers to identify learning and development needs for leaders, managers and staff, along with specific advice about role analysis, role development, succession planning, recruitment employment and career planning.Exciting times for the company, and expect another update shortly!
