The study verified that a smaller garage with integrated shared parking of the public and private uses could function within acceptable industry standards thereby reducing the garage size/cost for the project.OTHER ACCOMPLISHMETNS:• Negotiated 5 redevelopment agreements for mixed use projects entailing 500 residential units, 85,000sf commercial space, 3 parking garages, and a new car dealership. • Monitored developer adherence to agreement terms during project construction and reviewed/approved developer payout requests.• Directed tenant lease negotiations for municipal owned office buildings through outsourced commercial property manager. • RFP author/manager for consultants, planning studies and redevelopment projects.• Author of ROI project analysis spreadsheet for use by Village Board to review developer proposals for redevelopment.• Prepared annual department and TIF district budgets, monitored monthly expenses. • Chaired Development Review team (multi-disciplinary team) that reviewed all development/building proposals prior to formal permit/process submittal.• Integrated “green” practices/requirements, including LEED certification, into projects.
