Connecting interesting people and establishing structured networks

New business development, client relationship management and networking roles in the financial institutions sector, particularly with the main UK corporate banks. In my networking role, I have been responsible for setting up three networking groups - Ropemaker Reconstructions, The Defence Network and Cleantech Pulse (see above). In addition to the financial institutions sector, I have experience and connections in the healthcare and life sciences, TMT, hospitality and leisure and aerospace and defence sectors.

Working closely with the sector teams at a major UK corporate bank to help them network with existing and potential customers. Established the high level healthcare business network, Care Conversation, in conjunction with the healthcare sector teams at a major UK corporate bank and BDO.

Joined the firm in 1975; partner in the corporate department 1981 to 1996 and responsible from 1987 to 1996 for a number of high-profile corporate reconstructions; departmental managing partner of the corporate department from 1994 to 1996.
