I am an experienced information services professional and a mathematician by training and I get to use both of these every day because what I really love to do is solve problems.I get my energy from bringing teams together to design and implement solutions to technology and business problems – the more complex the better! Whether it’s creating something entirely new or improving an existing system or process I truly enjoy being able to deliver results that have a direct impact on the business and our customers.I am also passionate about developing talented individuals and helping them achieve their personal goals in conjunction with the goals of the team and company. I want to help everyone discover their strengths and put them in a position to use those strengths to realize their potential. I strongly believe that most technical skills can be taught – the challenge is to find creative, energetic people with a willingness and ability to learn. Surround yourself with people like that and there is almost nothing you can’t achieve as a team.I was fortunate while at Associated Bank to be the executive sponsor for the Veterans Colleague Resource Group (CRG). The purpose was to provide a network for military veterans to collaborate on important issues facing the organization and the personal and professional development of its members. The CRG leverages the knowledge and experience of its membership to create awareness of the contributions of military veterans in the communities we serve. This led me to an opportunity as a board member for the Wisconsin Veterans Village Association (https://www.wisvva.org/about_us) where I can continue to use my time and talents to benefit military veterans. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, baseball research, and spending time with my family with as much time outdoors as possible – even during the Wisconsin winters!Specialties: ITIL, process development/improvement, SDLC, vendor relationship management, customer service delivery, budget/financial management, delivering business solutions through technology.
