When Topshore was founded by MeeMaken B.V. and Westerduin Groep I was hired to become part of the team to build Topshore. They had joined forces to make a substantial difference in the world of recruitment (including process outsourcing) and outplacement. Topshore is active in several heavy technical industries such as machine building, heavy lifting and shipbuilding.I started as an Account Manager focusing on bringing in new business and helping those clients with finding Engineers, Project Managers and Engineering Managers. Besides that, I had an all-round startup role meaning I did marketing activities and did everything that was needed to build Topshore. This included business trips abroad to build a network in Spain. During the pandemic I was involved with outplacement programs as some companies unfortunately had to cut back in staffing. Later the market became positive again and I became more involved as a recruitment specialist within the MeeMaken Group by helping the companies KenzFigee and LiftWerx Europe with their recruitment process and HR activities. A short overview of the things I was involved in: - Sales- Recruitment- Marketing- Helping new junior team members - Recruitment advice (sparring partner HR, COO, CEO) When I left Topshore I had mixed feelings; proud of the team we built, excited to start a new chapter and sad to say goodbye. I am proud of what we accomplished with all the hard work and perseverance.

During the last year of my Bachelor study I moved to Rotterdam and started working for Allganized. I started as a team member of the promotional team and became a team leader afterwards. As a team leader I was responsible for the team on site. I was the contact person between the office and team and sometimes the client and team as well. Some of my responsibilities on site were making sure the script was being followed and giving feedback and support. The job included events such as festivals, company events and store openings. Besides this I also worked a lot on RET projects, the provision of information about public transport in Rotterdam (subway, tram and bus).

During my study in International Marketing Management (BSc) I founded a startup company with two of my fellow students. We connected students and companies for internships. I also wrote my Bachelor thesis about this startup and graduated on the topic.

In 2014 I went to New York City for six months to do a marketing internship. I was responsible for the website and social media. I also did other projects such as helping the owner with organising meetings, buying marketing related products and coming up with new concepts. I wrote a paper on the company and researched the target group for my study in International Marketing Management (BSc). One of my conclusions and input was for the company to start using Instagram as the platform was becoming more accessible and popular amongst the target group in that year.

After my first job in the kitchen and restaurant I was offered to become a Salesman in the sleeping furniture department. I did this during the first years of my study in International Marketing Management (BSc). My responsibilities were welcoming the client, product demonstration and finalising the sale.

After I started with doing the dishes and working in the kitchen I became responsible for the restaurant team on Saturday and Sunday.
