Since graduating from the University of Michigan in 1982, Bob Krinsky has devoted his career to the focused exploration of new growth and transformational “platforms” for companies within the Fortune 500. In his work, Bob integrates a high level of creativity, branding, strategy and a deep knowledge of innovation process. Bob is highly skilled at guiding organizations to new ground and doing so with a style that aligns and propels an organization forward. Bob began his consulting career with IdeaScope in ’87. Based in Boston and San Francisco, IdeaScope focused its practice on growth strategy and corporate innovation. In ’91, Bob opened and began building the firms' SF office. Later that year, he became one of the firms’ three partners. In early ’97 Bob was named President and CEO. While at IdeaScope, Bob initiated and managed an 8-year relationship with Hewlett-Packard, leading over 40 global strategic innovation initiatives across all business sectors. Bob led HP teams into entirely new categories of business including multi-function devices, consumer digital photography and mobile/portable defibrillators. IdeaScope was retained extensively by Division GM’s and Group GM’s to uncover and align their organizations around new areas of growth. Throughout his tenure at IdeaScope, Bob also worked closely with senior executives at Motorola, P&G, US WEST, General Mills, Nokia, Schott Glas, Kodak Motion Picture Group & Bristol-Myers.Upon leaving IdeaScope in late '99, Bob devoted one year to the role of "stay-at-home-dad”. Following this, he created and launched a company that developed and marketed a new brand of healthy snacks for kids called Planet Krunch. Within its first year, Planet Krunch achieved distribution throughout the northeast and the west coast.
