We help families affected by gangs, violence and poverty learn how to embrace struggle as a way to build a better future. Through 17 years of experience, we've found that a Christ-centered approach to teaching mentoring skills has produced a high rate of success. When young people learn how to be leaders who serve with compassion, they become positive role models who mentor the next generation. Bob Kuebler is Director of an inner city ministry called Youth With A Purpose where he has learned about pain and perseverance from young people and their families. Healing starts with love and encompasses compassion and empathy. Our mission at YWAP is to inspire inner city young people to develop as God's leaders who overcome the mindset of violence and poverty. Bob is an Author of six books and several blogs. His writings reflect the wisdom people gain from overcoming hardships through compassion. He regularly shares with audiences in community centers, conferences and churches about how God is redeeming our cities through young people.YWAP has been instrumental in helping young men leave the life of a gang member and become contributing members of society. Bob is a respected husband, proud father and grateful son. His greatest joy is to see the"Ah Ha!" in a child's eyes when they understand what unconditional love is. YWAP is part of a Mentor Force of collaborating organizations who help to mentor thousands of young people. Bob and his wife Linda are Relationship Mentors who teach children and adults how to build healthy relationships.
