Following the IPO, I led SoundBite’s initiative to comply, prior to the mandatory date, with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and was instrumental in negotiating and closing three acquisitions that fundamentally repositioned SoundBite in the market. Throughout my tenure at SoundBite, I worked closely with members of the board of directors, particularly members of the audit and compensation committees. Finally, I helped head a seven-month process that culminated in SoundBite’s sale to a private equity-backed company in July 2013, achieving a 67% premium over market price.
