Building on nearly 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Bob has established his own business sharing his knowledge and skills with others. He focuses on strategies for chemical, sustainability and supply chain regulations, risk management program development and improvement, and development of strategy for sustainability, environmental, health and safety issues, as well as research and development.

Bob worked in the Intel's Global Supply Chain organization in a regulatory engineering role for his tenure. His projects focused in many different areas related to technology, research, supply chain, responsible minerals, corporate responsibility, data systems and processes, quality, and regulatory policy and compliance. His focus was both internal to Intel and working with suppliers, industry peers, multi-industry peers, governments and NGOs. His specialties are in the U.S. TSCA regulation, and global Supply Chain regulations. He earned the title of Intel Senior Technologist in 2021. He is the holder of seven patents for semiconductor devices and waste treatment technologies. He is a published author in two technical journals, one World Economic Forum article, and has published many industry papers related to government regulatory topics, conflict minerals and corporate responsibility. Bob was an Intel representative at the US Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), and the Semiconductor Research Corporation's (SRC) ESH Technical Advisory Board, as well was a founding member at the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC, the predecessor to the RBA), where he developed and led the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI, the predecessor to the RMI), and was instrumental in the development of the EICC's Supplier Code of Conduct and Validated Audit Program (VAP).

Bob is an Intel representative at the US Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), and the World Semiconductor Council’s (WSC) EHS Task Force, as well was a founding member at the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC, the predecessor to the RBA), where he developed and led the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI, the predecessor to the RMI), and was instrumental in the development of the EICC's Supplier Code of Conduct and Validated Audit Program (VAP). He is also Intel's ESH representative on, and Chair of the Semiconductor Research Corporation's (SRC) ESH Technical Advisory Board (TAB).

On behalf of Intel, Bob led and shaped the formation of RBA's Responsible Minerals Initiative for the initial 5+ years. This included development, establishment, influencing, and growth strategies and tactics to create this Globally recognized, multi-industry initiative. The RMI is recognized by industry, governments and non-government organizations as the leading entity driving the use of Responsible Minerals. Bob departed as a lead member of the RMI Steering Committee in 2014.

As a founding member-participant from Intel, Bob participated in several teams to develop the Code of Conduct content, Risk Analysis tools, and the Validated Audit Program (VAP) for the RBA's Code of Conduct. This included development of Environmental, Health and Safety Code content, pre-audit and audit tools for all Code content, and hiring and preparing the initial VAP program manager.

Bob participated as a member of the Board of Directors team for the Co-op. This included collectively establishing and monitoring operating rules for the Co-op's collective management team. It also included continuously reviewing and approving the strategic direction of the Co-op.
