I am a hands-on technology manager/director who thrives on motivating and mentoring a diverse team of engineers. I enjoy working as part of the team, but also as the team leader. I have a knack for motivating, and I lead by example. New technology excites me, and I'm not afraid to be on the "bleeding" edge. I'm as comfortable in the board room as I am in the trenches.I am a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and although I have many years of Project Management experience, I am just in the process of obtaining my CAPM certification from the PMI Institute (http://PMI.org).Working with Software Development Engineers and end-users, I am an expert at translating user needs into software specifications. I develop user stories and work with UI/UX designers to develop design guides. For smaller projects, I can handle UX/UI design on my own, and can create mockups and wireframes that help end-users and software developers understand the specifications of the project. Managing the SDLC, I keep track of development sprints, testing plans, and release schedules.As a seasoned infrastructure manager/director, I help today's network and infrastructure engineers design and fine tune networks, keeping them running at peak performance and availability.
