Part of this process was to migrate a paper-based deductions management system to a digitized format utilizing Sharepoint. While managing a 45% reduction in staffing levels, I was able to decrease the length of time to process a credit which historically had taken several months to a Sharepoint workflow system where the time was reduced to days.

In meeting the annual cash needs of the company, my team was also responsible for the integration of the Tolt’s merger by conducting credit evaluations, approvals and setting up all accounts being brought into Pomeroy.

I was able to lead my team to meet our stated cash collection and DSO reduction goal within the first eight month of the year.

As Director of Credit for National Accounts, my role was to ensure monies were collected as invoices came due and to correct any billing issues so the customer could process our payment in a timely manner. Under my leadership, my team had a substantial impact on the two main Key Performance Indicators that measured division profitability, Balances Over 60 Days and Bad Debt Reserves. Within one year we were able to decrease the balances over 60 days from 12.56% to 3.04% and the Bad Debt Reserve was reduced from $1.8 million to ($136,000).
