Member of the board steering this non-profit aimed at increasing community awareness and help manage brownfield sites in Muncie. Our goal is to rehabilitate these sites using various methods and educate and involve the community, all while providing food, and room to grow beautiful and useful vegetation.

Built an excellent engineering team, employing talent around the globe, working on solutions that made the Shopify ecosystem smarter, easier and more connected. Under my leadership we acquired new companies without teams and I staffed them with superior, cost-effective talent, and integrated them into our portfolio of solutions. I led the way on bolstering our DevOps strategy where there was none and migrated many of our apps from disparate hosting solutions into the AWS ecosystem heavily leveraging the CDK toolset. I championed better quality through manual and automated testing for all of our applications and improved our overall quality of delivered software. I established engineering performance metrics and encouraged agile adoption throughout the engineering organization.

For over a decade I've been desiring to create my own business, and I've wanted to diversify outside of tech. I'm starting up my own food truck, and hope to employ some of my tech savvy to make it interesting beyond just food.
