Managing existing clients that process residential mortgages Commerce Velocity, Inc. is a small company that implements web-based Broker and Underwriter applications for the mortgage industry.• Managed major industry client that processes residential mortgages with an internal team (in-house and off-shore) to schedule enhancements that include issue resolutions as well as application enhancements into product releases.• Worked with new clients to implement the Commerce Velocity suite of applications to automate their residential loan programs. AccuPoll, Inc. was a startup company that created software in a delivered hardware package to enable electronic voting with accountability and reliability.• Managed a team to develop the central voting application utilizing HTML, SQL and XML. Developed the deployment methodology used for voting system deployments. Managed the deployment of one-time elections requiring 50 machines allowing thousands of voters to cast their vote. Documented and tested polling place and central voting operations and procedures.• Worked with internal staff and with external partners to create the methodology of deploying and running an election using the AccuPoll touch-screen voting systems. Managed the writing of multi-million dollar responses to Requests For Proposals (RFP) for county and statewide voting systems using MS Excel, MS Visio and MS Word to prepare the proposals.• Lead a small team to develop the optical scan portion of the voting software to enable mail-in ballots to be produced and then counted.o Prepared multi-million dollar proposals for various state and county submissions.o Prepared an analysis of competitor data to assist in the marketing and proposal submissions.

Intertainer was a startup company that offered studio programming (such as major Hollywood movie releases and television shows) for Video On Demand through a DSL network to a computer as well as through a cable network to a Set Top Box on a television.• Program Manager / Director – Video on Demand (VOD) Launch: Led cross-departmental teams, including five direct reports (3 PMs, an Engineer and a DBA) to integrate with several partners using a XML standard for the deployment of the Intertainer VOD cable offering to over 500,000 subscribers over multiple projects from the ground up.• Program Manager / Director – Company Strategy: Worked with senior management to define the company's Set Top Box (STB) cable strategy. Developed relationships with vendors to promote and deliver the Intertainer service with new providers. Worked closely with third party vendors, to create and deliver content using XML standards. Defined and related the cable usage information in order to populate the Intertainer Data Warehouse for management reports and provider billing.• Sr. Project Manager – VOD Launch: Led the company deploying the first large-scale VOD application to over 40,000 homes streaming MPEG4 content, delivered through the telephone company’s infrastructure to personal computers, connected to DSL modems. Successfully guided this HTML project from development, through system test to deployment with Cincinnati Bell’s broadband service. Worked with the internal Engineers and the client’s engineers to scope and size the servers and integrate the rack into the network.

MCI Systemhouse was a systems integration firm that managed and delivered varied and complex multi-million dollar projects in both a consulting and managed network model.• Unocal – Year 2000 PMO: Managed multiple programs to plan and test as an integral part of the Unocal Year 2000 Project Management Office (PMO) including testing of hardware, Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products, and in-house developed client-server applications. Implemented Risk Mitigation Management policies to scope the systems, critical usage, and to evaluate risk mitigation for the systems.• Vons Groceries – Card Reader Replacement: Utilized Project Workbench to manage a project to replace Magnetic Swipe Readers (MSR) for The Vons Companies, Inc. Worked with the cross-departmental team and with several vendors to facilitate the design, implementation and testing of several components of the project.• Ultramar, Inc. – Data Warehouse Repository: Analyst, developer and junior project manager on a project that integrated mainframe legacy data into a new Microsoft Access system for the Marketing Department of Ultramar Inc utilizing RAD to interactively produce the screens and reports used for reporting. The project provided executive summary information necessary for making key business decisions. Worked with the Marketing Department and analyzed several major service requests that were prioritized and distributed for development and implementation. Implemented an on-line Ultramar Inc. employee telephone directory system utilizing Microsoft Access.• Family Courts – Development: involved in the design, development, and testing of an Accounts Receivable System for maintenance payments, enforced by Family Courts in Nova Scotia, Canada, including database design and optimization. This system involved generating receivables, recording payments, and issuing default letters for delinquent respondents.
