Provide vision, leadership, coordination, integrative management, and direction for the College’s information systems, applications, infrastructures and equipment; including multi-campus college-wide strategic planning and budget management for all departments within the Office of Information Services and Technologies. Establish and administer collegewide technology policies and procedures. Oversee and direct the operations of the Center for Design and Instruction (CDI) to ensure curriculum design and pedagogy are infused with emerging technologies and delivered through a variety of modalities.

In collaboration with the College’s executive leadership develop, promulgate and sustain an IT vision that propels the College toward its strategic campus, regional, national and global goals. Provide guidance and counsel to senior administration in the examination and definition of objectives for existing and proposed information technologies and the design of improved systems. Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of integrated, IT plans, practices and policies that support the College’s strategic plan. Lead the process to select and prioritize projects, priorities, and future directions to meet the College’s IT requirements. Provide institution-wide leadership and direction in the management and integration of the operation of information technology services across the College to sustain maximum institution-wide synergies and efficiencies. Maintain knowledge, and understanding of the applicability of current and developing information technologies to the College’s goals and objectives. Lead, guide, and oversee the institutional information technology budgeting process, and provide leadership in cost and productivity analysis. Lead and guide the design, implementation, and responsiveness of the IT organizational structure and staffing required to effectively accomplishing the College's information technology goals and objectives.The college's credit student FTE is nearly 13,000 and it employs over 4,000 people in FT/PT faculty/staff throughout the year.
