I successfully led an aggressive new development project which resulted in the creation of a unique and streamlined four-week training course to prepare REI staff for life in overseas environments. Staff now receive quality training in less than 33% of the originally estimated time, using less than 50% of the originally estimated budget. I also synthesized input from offices and teams in six different countries in order to create and implement an all-encompassing organizational security policy.

My major accomplishment was that I designed, developed, and implemented numerous needs-based English Teacher training workshops tailored for the country-specific and situational needs of five different Vietnamese and Laotian universities operating under extremely tight budgets. For this and previous work I was awarded Vietnam’s Ministry of Education medal for exceptional long-term contributions. In general, I managed and supported a wide variety of activities and programs involving international home stays, student exchanges, and placement of Asian professionals in diverse US settings. Also served as liaison and main point-of-contact for Vietnamese universities for program planning needs, led and coordinated American student overseas culture exchange programs to Vietnam, and arranged SEVIS-required scheduling for the USA's Exchange Visitor Program.

Also played a major part in assisting new and future teachers with developing up-to-date methodology, preparing students for international jobs and study abroad programs, and giving a number of seminars and guest lectures in Hanoi and other key cities. Received Hanoi University English Department award for outstanding contribution.
