Bob is an internationally recognized diplomat, human rights advocate, and communication strategist and currently is a partner at Insignias Global, a firm focused on strengthening democracies in the areas of Human Rights, anti-corruption, high-level negotiation, international trade, and anti-corruption technology. The firm represents many top brands in their industries and advises senior government leaders and CEOs around the globe. Bob returned recently from Ukraine, working to assist with humanitarian efforts at the beginning of the war. With former Secretary Madeleine Albright, Bob was a member of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) Delegation to Georgia and Ukraine and participated in discussions with many government members regarding democracy and international investment in the region. At the request of Secretary Albright, Bob served as founding chairman of NDI’s Equal Voices Council, leading democracy-building delegations to Serbia, Colombia, and Guatemala. In addition, Bob served as partner and senior advisor to the President and CEO of SB&K Global, an executive strategy firm specializing in consumer dynamics, reputation management, and brand positioning. He served as a National Chair of the Obama and Biden campaigns and held a seat on the Native American Policy committee for the Biden 2020 campaign. Bob served as a U.S. Diplomat for President Barack Obama and the American people, along with his husband, U.S. Ambassador James W. Brewster, in the Dominican Republic. Bob was the senior media strategist, advisor, primary speechwriter, and spokesperson for Ambassador Brewster and the U.S. Embassy. He chaired over a dozen human rights committees at the U.S. Embassy Santo Domingo and, in cooperation with the Minister of the Environment of the Dominican Republic and U.S. Congress, was influential on several environmental policies related to the border region of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Bob has developed lasting and influential relationships with Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers, and U.S. and foreign government leaders focused on preventing money laundering, drug trade, and human trafficking. Bob graduated from the University of Oklahoma and received his Master of Global Business at the University of Oxford Said Business School. Bob attends Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law and travels extensively internationally, providing him with a perspective on the global social and economic dynamics facing democracy.
