It was there that Bob designed and brought to market the first integrated real-time trading, portfolio management, financial accounting, partnership and trust system which addressed the complex needs of the most sophisticated hedge funds, family offices, fund administrators, and investment managers. Founded in 1984 as a consulting firm by Bob Shepro, the original company split out two separate companies: Shepro Braun Systems (acquired in 1998) and Braun Consulting (IPO 1999, acquired 2004).

Bob began his consulting career at Price Waterhouse and rose to manager before starting his own consulting firm. Bob conducted a wide variety of projects in the systems, financial analysis, operations, and manufacturing practice areas.
