Shortly after moving from South Africa to Canada I was hired by The Jim Pattison Group where I spent 18 years and served as President for two separate divisions. I eventually left to start my own entrepreneurial journey.Today, I feel privileged to serve as an advisor, mentor and facilitator to many of Vancouver’s top companies with outstanding leaders that are driven to be the best they can, and grow their companies. Client projects include helping companies improve their bottom lines and the efficiencies of their work flow. This typically involves working with the executive team through their vision, mission, core values and turning those expectations into achievable strategic management and business goals. This exposure allows me to stay on the forefront of what’s working in business today. Business issues regardless of industry tend to be similar. As a Chair for TEC Canada, I run a CEO Group and a Key Executive Group. In these groups, I work with Vancouver business leaders, sharing that which I’m most passionate about: • Helping businesses become more successful• Driving results• Sharing knowledge and best practices• Building up leadersI hold an ICD designation (Institute of Corporate Directors) and serve on Boards of Directors or Advisory Boards with companies that I feel aligned with. My strength is in understanding the financial side of business, processes and efficiencies, and seeing opportunities for growth and expansion. Some the reasons Vancouver CEO’s have joined my TEC Canada groups:• To improve and grow their business• Building culture and understanding what that means • Become a more effective leader• Surround themselves with other supportive leaders • International network of 22,000 members ► If you’re interested in joining a group with some of Vancouver’s best and brightest business minds, please email me at rsinclair@tec-canada.com for more information.
