This typically involves enhancing a brand, educating an audience or meeting some other strategic need via the written or spoken word. It's like using language to solve a puzzle. That energizes me. And it has served employers and clients well through the years, especially in the context of building and nurturing relationships. As I see it, any job description is just a starting point.
