I was approached by a client to take on the UK Sales & Development of a range of industrial machinery manufactured in Italy after their previous UK agent had collapsed. The market for this supplier needed to be re-established & prices raised 20%! The work involved negotiating with the companies receivers, establishing new premises, recruiting & developing new Sales, Service and Admin staff along with R & D work to 'justify' the sales increase.
