I am Bob, recently graduated Master's Student of English Language and Culture at the University of Leiden. I have an extensive knowledge of the English language, through my years of bilingual and then solely English education, as well as the fact that most of my interests transpire (and have always transpired even in my youth) in the English speaking world. These interests include video games, board games, and especially tabletop and live action role playing games. I also have great knowledge of English genre fiction (and the writing thereof), particularly the genre of fantasy in its various media. I was frivolous in my English studies, a crown achievement being my participation in the Harting academic scholarship program, and spend an academic year studying at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. Here I also won entry to the Panasonic Sports Change Makers project with my team of close friends, allowing us to work together with Panasonic to develop a progressive technological concept in preparation for the 2021 Olympic Games. Over the course of my studies, I have gained knowledge on a wide variety of subjects: (medieval) literature, medieval English language and society, (medieval) history, genre fiction and and other popular media, translation, esoterics and modern religious movements, creative writing, and (board) game design. All these subjects are directly related to my personal interests, and I have gained much satisfaction writing on and working with these subjects. In addition, my skills as an (academic) writer have already proved fruitful, with satisfactory marks for my Bachelor Thesis (on unfamiliar religions in Tolkien’sMiddle-earth) and Master Thesis (on medieval oral tradition and formulaic narrative in Dungeons & Dragons), as well as a number of (co-)authored publications in the societal magazine of Dutch Tolkien society "Unquendor". I am an enthusiastic, social and ever-positive worker, who likes to make sure that everyone is happy, though is not afraid to give or receive criticism. My biggest skill is my boundless creativity and my mastery of English. I am sure to be a great addition to your employees.
