Focused on proactive involvement to ensure customer satisfaction all the while ensuring we accomplish our mission in the most cost effective manner possible. Responsible for leading a team of 100 individuals spread across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico operating within 3 customer service teams, 6 manufacturing plant warehouses and 10 distribution centers within the region. Immediately developed a strategic partnership with a National 3rd Party Logistic (3PL) company whereby permitting Danisco to close 2 leased facilities and bring an annual fiscal savings of approximately $650,000 and the reduction of 5 FTEs. Closed 13 3PL warehouses consolidating shipments back to the plant or other regional distribution centers. Developed a strategy to use rail to our distribution center whereby the early estimate indicate a savings in excess of $500,000 in freight costs annually. Additionally, investigating the possility of combining shipments from our two mid west plants for direct shipments to the RDCs with additional potential savings in freight costs of is excess of $200.000 annually.

Leader of a new department encompassing both International and Domestic Customer Service, Inside Sales, Sample Distribution and Regional Distribution Center Operations including 32 people. Reorganized the department within the first 6 months with a FTE savings of approx $200,000. Streamlined our distribution processes at our regional distribution centers and developed a freight claim process that provided approx $350,000 in claims and saved freight.

SAP SD Super User trained and created the highly recognized most efficient customer service team globally within Danisco.

Leader of a global team of individuals responsible for the on time delivery of CP Kelco products to customers in ASPAC, and AMCAS. Reduced the Customer Service team from 32 down to 17 by incorporating process efficiencies. Implemented and upgraded SAP 4 times in my tenure. Lead the customer service team through 5 acquisitions in 7 years.
