My name is Robert Westfall and I am the President of Solatube International, a worldwide leader and manufacturer of devices that transform interior spaces with the power of daylight. My passion for marketing was ignited after participating in a media propaganda class in high school. I was so intrigued by the idea of using media in public forms to influence public opinion and wants, that I pursued a formal education in the field, earning a degree from ASU. After college, I moved to Los Angeles and worked for several global advertising agencies, giving me the opportunity to experience the fast paced marketing world first-hand. In 1991, I moved to San Diego to become a Vice President for the advertising powerhouse McCann Erickson. There I landed start-up Solatube as a new account. Solatube's brilliant product fascinated me so much that I left the agency world and joined the Solatube team. Since 1996, I have been a key player in growing Solatube into a worldwide leader in tubular daylighting systems. Much of our success is due to our unique special dealer network, continued investment in technology innovation and creative marketing. .
