22 years I worked with Kuwait Mental Health Hospital as an Administrative Assistant/Medical Secretary. My job involved typing various Medical Reports for Patients by direction from the Medical Board. Typing various official documents and certificates for Director, Chairman and other staff. Troubleshooting common software and hardware issues in the hospital systems.Maintaining and arranging audio-visual equipment for multi purpose halls in the hospital.Maintaining administrative communication between hospital departments including Director, Chairman and Administrative director and other staff.Learnt to simulate different psychiatric manifestations and acted as Simulated Patient for the Objective Structured Clinical Assessment during both the students' Psychiatric Rotation at the hospital and the semester and final exams at the Kuwait University. Was responsible for the Medical Student's Psychiatry Rotation at our hospital liaising with the tutors, students and simulated patients, recording and reporting their attendances of Clinical rotations, arranging daily Case conferences, PBL and ECT, Mock exams etc. Coordinating the scheduling of mock patients for the Hospital Rotation, semester and final examination and ensuring their remuneration is processed by the finance department. Similar to the above, also assisted in Post Graduate Student's (Resident Doctors) Rotation at the hospital and monitored and reported lecturers and tutors remuneration to the accounts department. Was a key person in liaising between the University Academic staff, Medical students, Resident Doctors which was critical in ensuring the medical students' clinical teaching. Helped Director, Chairman and other department heads in yearly evaluation of the staffs and uploaded their evaluation in the system. Assisted the hospital Accreditation committee since many years. Helped various Pharmaceutical representatives of our hospital while arranging their frequent hospital meetings.
